Paul placed the crate of birds on the ground and said to Norm and me. "See that field over there, the one with the big oak tree in the middle. Take these birds over there and let them out of the crate by the tree. Then wait a half hour for them to scatter and hunt them up with the dog."
We asked Paul. "Are you going with us?" Paul answered. "No, me and my Pa have chores. The dog knows what to do!"
Norm looked at me. I looked at Norm, who by this time was scratching his head. I knew we were in for a treat!

About the Author
The short stories in this book, "MY TRAVELS WITH NORM", began with an idea, to put some life experiences in print. Those experiences developed within a 45 year friendship. That was the original idea author Frederick J. Ruggio had. The idea then exploded into a book of short stories. This is the fourth book by the author. RAINBOW RANCH will be published in September or October of 2010, ZULU 119ER was published in 2008 and IN THE CORPORATE GAME was published in 1979.
