Benjamin Duck longs to leave the farm and go off on his own adventures. He applies for a special passport and waits for it to arrive. This the start of many adventures for Benjamin Duck but after a while he becomes lonely, he longs to join the other ducks on the pond but the truth is Benjamin Duck can't swim...

About the Author

For some time Jo Pickering and her daughter Beth have been making up stories about a real group of ducks who live on the Pickering family farm. Jo has always been fascinated with children's book illustration and at the age of 41 decided to give it a go herself. When her 7 year old nephew Benjamin was diagnosed with leukaemia, Jo decided to write her first children's book about him and the other 6 grandchildren in the Pickering family. Adventure Ducks is the first in a series of books. Jo Pickering currently lives and works as an art teacher at a small secondary school in the North East of England. She is married with two children and four dogs.
