Lilly's Hair is Everywhere

When Lilly Rose was born one day, Her lovely locks were there to stay. Her parents were in awe of her. They didn’t know what would occur. The doctors asked what they had done To make her hair look like the sun, But they just laughed and said it must Have been some magic fairy dust. As Lilly grew, so did her locks. Her mother says, “And when she walks, Her long hair always drags the floor And even catches in the door.” But that did not deter the girl Who’d cartwheel, twist and turn and whirl Around the furniture unless Her hair was in a knotted mess. And then her mom would start to shout, “It’s hard to get those tangles out!”
