Little Dream Athea

They were flying through the night sky that was filled with millions of bright beautiful stars. Athea loved every second of it since she had never flown before. The night air smelled so clean and crisp with just a touch of sweetness. Little Jack stayed way down inside the book bag. He wasn't too sure of flying, he was just a puppy. Little Jack started feeling much braver and he poked his little head out of the book bag. He knew he was safe because Athea loved him dearly and she would keep him safe. They flew like they were floating and Athea could see everything below them. She could see everything in her backyard. They flew along the pine trees that smelled so wonderful. They started going down to land in the sand and Bucky told her to hold tight his landings weren't very smooth. All at once, they rolled into the sand. Athea was laughing as she opened the book bag to check on Little Jack. He jumped up at her licking her face and wagging his tail because he was fine. She brushed the sand off of her and Little Jack and thought what a fun landing. It was all very magnificent. There was even glitter sparkling in the moonlight. Bucky told her that she had to meet King Neptune since he was waiting patiently. As she walked to the beginning of the path way, she could see the tiny crab. He wasn't so tiny now. He was up to her knee area as she looked down at him. Little Jack barked as if he were frightened. The small crab introduced himself as Solomon. He told her that King Neptune was waiting patiently to meet her. King Neptune was very impressed with his castle. As she went with Solomon, Bucky and Bing used their lights to brighten the pathway. Suddenly, a tiny voice said, "Halt, who goes there"? There they were, all of the tiny sand crabs. They were like an army. They marched with their tiny legs and they held their pinchers up high and clicked them together which made the sound of soldiers marching. They were lined up all along the sides of the pathway under the palm trees. They were there to protect King Neptune. They were small, yet they were a tough and rugged looking little group of soldiers. Solomon assured them that it was all right because he has brought the chosen child.
