A young man is found in a box car by a Southern Pacific railroad policeman. He has been badly beaten and has no memory of his name, where he is from, or how he ended up in the box csr .He isbefriended by the policeman because he reminds him of his son who was killed in the war.Their lives now intertwined they assist each other in solving mutual peoblems.

Gossett lived and worked in Texas for 30 years traveling all over the state on business and pleasure. Though he now li ves in Kenosha WI. he maintains membership in San Antonio American Legion nd Texas library association. His
