About the Author
Lorna was born in 1951 in rural Essex. Her upbringing was a happy one giving her an appreciation for wildlife and the environment in which she lives. Her empathy with nature and the elements has been the inspiration for this, her fourth book. Lorna now has four granddaughters and it was their request that she should write a fairy story. With climate change being under constant scrutiny, Lorna's book raises concerns with a pragmatism conducive to young people.
