About the Book
This book of quotations and poetry is a result of a life changing event where the author experienced a collapse while working as a Subsea engineer in the oil industry. A month after this existential crisis he started to meditate and shortly after started to experience what he later found out to be what is known as Spontaneous Kundalini Awakening. The book is an honest expression of the journey of the author reflecting his altered perception of reality induced by the opening of the senses. Further an attempt to demystify the enigma of Kundalini awakening by presenting poetry reflecting the process.
About the Author
Erik Hegelstad was born in Stavanger Norway in 1970 and has lived an international life, spending his childhood years in Singapore, Scotland and Malaysia, and in his adult years working in UK, France, North Sea, the Persian Gulf and Norway. While working as a subsea engineer in 2008, he had a life changing event - a collapse, followed by an unexpected Spontaneuos Kundalini Awakening. In aftermath his interest in self-realization has developed and he has attended courses in Diamond Approach, Psycho Synthesis, Thought Field Therapy and Reiki. He is still exploring the hidden wonders of the Kundalini in his ongoing process.
