Let Me Show You A Vision Let me show you a vision of what I perceive. From my little world, it may be hard to believe. In my world there is no more war or strife. People work under unity and with peaceful goals in mind. Neighbor helping neighbor always doing what is right. There would be no more hunger, no homelessness or diseases taking lives. Jobs would be plentiful from sea to shining sea. Our planet would be covered with all the wildlife and forestry which used to be. Our ozone would be replenished stopping the harmful rays. All these things envisioned I pray will come one day. For now we can only work on what is here today. I pray and hope we stop and look at what we must achieve. For if we do not change our course we shall perish sooner than we think.

Ms. Waters has had various poems from her collections published in various anthologies and has now decided to have a book published of her poems. One of her poems has been published in Eternal Heartland: Route 70 by Eber and Wein Publishing. Poems From the Heart is an inspirational view of poems conceived from the author’s sights, sounds and emotional views. For example the poem “Cycles”, how one little leaf has changed over a season or “Through A Child’s Eye”, how children perceive things as opposed to adults. Patina Waters is an original Washingtonian. She was educated here in Washington, D.C. from elementary school all the way through college. She has one son Robert. She likes writing poetry, reading, movies and music. She says her inspirations come to her like lightning in a bottle.
