A Man Let me rest, In the arms of a man who doesn’t ask how to fix me, But lets me exist as I am. Whoever that may be. Let me dance, Twirling around a man who can’t hear the music, But who feels the rhythm That pounds in my heart. Let me be loved by a man Who loves that I’m different. Who accepts me. And my ever-changing soul.

About the Book
This Book is a compilation of poetry that I have written from the time I was fourteen. This book is not for young people. It touches on some dark subjects.
About the Author
I was born into an artistic family that believed strongly that reading was important. My father was an English professor and my mother loved all the arts. My parents were also writers themselves. From a young age I learned that writing was a good outlet. I was published in a literary magazine when i was twelve. I have also been published in The International Who's Who in Poetry, Theater of the Mind, The Best Poems and Poets of 2002 and The Flame of Hope I've enjoyed writing poetry since I was very young. I used to write poems about the laundry for my little brothers. As I got older I realized how free poetry really is. It don't have to rhyme or use proper grammar, It just flows and sings and it's beautiful. I've lived in a very small town, Hartford Ohio, my whole life. I grew up with seven brothers and one sister and my parents. I've had allot of support. All my inspiration is here and I've learned to find the beauty in the country and (like everyone else here) the longing for a more exciting life but no matter how many times i visit other places nowhere else quite feels like home.
