2012: Our Destiny Has Arrived Exactly at noon on December 21, 2012 A.D an ecliptic occurs in the Winter Solstice. Astronomers have plotted this date in the chart below and it shows the band of the Milky Way stretching from the lower right to the upper left. The more or less vertical dotted line indicates the Galactic Equator. The planets can be seen tracing a roughly horizontal path through the chart, indicating the ecliptic. The sun, quite strikingly, is dead center in the plane of the ecliptic. Interestingly, also, the planets with the Milky intersecting form the design of a cross (more about this later)… This Sacred Tree, (tree of life) shows the ecliptic and the Milky in the same pattern that astronomers today plot for December 21, 2012. It is no coincidence that the intelligent Mayan civilization understood what would happen some 13 centuries later. Neither is it a coincidence that they depicted their understanding with the Tree of Life because it symbolizes, better than any other symbol, the great cycle of mankind’s existence. Mankind’s origin is in the Garden of Eden, and the Bible predicts a time when Eden will be restored for man to once again enjoy the tree of life… The ancient Maya understood this 26,000 year cycle (Grand cycle) to be specifically composed of 5 lesser cycles, each 5,125 years, and each representing a new Precession of the Equinoxes. Each of these 5 cycles was considered its own World Age or Creation Cycle. Our present great cycle (3113 B.C. - 2012 A.D.) is called by the Maya the Age of the Fifth Sun. We call the current cycle that we are moving into the Age of Aquarius. This reminds us of a popular song from the 1970s by the group the 5th dimension – The Age of Aquarius. The Aquarius constellation in early history became known as the taker of life and the giver of life. This myth of a world flood and then a rebirth of life on Earth is a common one and can by found in many myths. The Babylonians looked on Aquarius as a bad god and referred to the month when the Sun was in Aquarius as the month of "the curse of rain. “In most myths Aquarius is identified with Ganymede, cup-bearer to the gods. Both the Bible and the current movement of the sun in Aquarius point to a time when a curse, leading to destruction will be forthcoming… The Eye of Providence can be seen floating above an unfinished pyramid on the back of the US $1 bill. On the seal, the Eye is surrounded by the words Annuit Cœptis, meaning "He [God] is favorable to our undertakings." The Eye is positioned above an unfinished pyramid with thirteen steps, representing the original thirteen states and the future growth of the country. The combined implication is that the Eye, or God, favors the prosperity of the United States… The question then arises, what is the significance of God’s oneness (represented by the number 13) to the U.S. dollar? Remember that this is the One Dollar Bill. The number 13, representing the Love and Unity of God is equal to his oneness. And what does the One Dollar Bill declare: In God We Trust… The number 13 is also significant to the Mayan symbolism for time. The number 13 was magically important to them and they believed that, starting from the beginning of mankind after 13 of these longest periods, or baktuns, the world, as we know it, would come to an end, and cycle back to the first baktun. Working from their start date, this Mayan Prophecy points to a date in our own time - 21 December 2012. The coming end date of December 21, 2012 is also written as 13.0.0.0.0. in Mayan long count notation, just like the beginning date.
