Strangely enough I had decided it would be my last night with Nicole. I thought she was the most wonderful woman I had ever met, yet as I started to take her seriously I realized I didn’t have the patience and dedication required for a great relationship and I would settle for nothing less, no mediocrity for me, at least not in a relationship. Plus, I had just quit a tough job and loved the freedom I felt as a result. The last thing I needed during this time of my life was commitment, any commitment. What made Jerry’s life especially difficult was his mother. Or did I say mother, I meant the person who gave birth to Jerry. She was in no way a mother! She was a prostitute who did her Johns in Jerry’s presence. That lack of concern I might be able to understand, but her lack of support for Jerry is unforgivable.

About the Author
I have over thirty five years experience working with some of the most hardened, difficult,and disturbed young teenagers for both the Los Angeles County Probation Department and for the Los Angeles Unified School District. This first book will vividly portray some inmates I worked with as a probation officer in riveting stories that will leave lasting impressions. The Don Juan was added for fun to temper the reading.
