About the Book
To explore the feeling of love and romance ,the simple everyday things aound us, to see life as the almighty meant for each of to experience. The sunshine, clouds, and morning rain, more then to see them, but to taste with the intersoul. To hold the hand or to look into the eyes of someone you love; is the true essence of my book. My poems are not meant to just read, but to expereince and perhaps one my view life differently.
About the Author
Born in Louisiana in 1944, I spent my childhood on the farms of the deep south; cotton farming was my families way of life. The Civil Rights era brought a change to my life; a firm and deep eye-opening experience that set the tone for my future. I entered into the military and retired from 1965 through 1985. This long assignment and time away from home led me to examine myself; it was there I started to read poetry; and deal with my understanding of love. My deep religious upbringing helped to define my understanding of life. The love of God and the love of my family; is my inspiration for this book.
