One day each one of us will stand before a thrice Holy God and we will give an account of our own lives. Our Creator and God has said so. What will you do? What will you say? In this book you will see what my statement of faith is and later you will read part of the reasons I believe as I do. The first and most important part of this book is Jesus the Lord and what He did for us all who believe. People need to talk with the mouth God gave to you. Even quiet people really want to express their own deepest thoughts and dreams. We want someone we can trust to share events with good or bad. God the Holy God of Israel is the only one you can really do that with and that should take place daily at the altar you built between you and God. That altar can only be the Cross of Jesus and what Jesus did on that cross because we can not approach God unless we come to Him through Jesus His only begotten Son. We need to learn how to speak with God and we learn in part by spending time around the prayer altar with Saints who already know how prayer is done. Plus that makes us more comfortable to express our own hearts once we have heard someone else cry out. The Holy Spirit, God will meet you there. It is my hope to extend a helping hand to those who are not familiar with what prayer should look like or sound like. Let me say again, “Prayer is conversation between two really good friends, you and God.” Truth from your heart to God’s. I write this book in honor of the Lord Jesus the Christ of God who went to death on the cross instead of me. Who has saved me by His wonderful Grace. About the Book
You know everyday we sit around and people say you should write a book! Well I have this is it. A three in one so to speak... the statement clearly about what I believe. I follow that up with why I believe these things to be so. And then of course there is a very get real with prayer portion of this little work. This whole work is about reaching an unseen God that is all powerful, all knowing. Who created us all. If you will follow the patterns shown in this little book that you could actually read a small story at a time or a prayer a day would hopefully put a hunger in you to know the God of Creation who loved you so much that when you betrayed Him, His Holiness and His true and faithful, kind and gently love, you who sinned against Him who created you, would find a strong and living relationship with God my Father for yourself. It is my will as it is God's will that NONE should leave this Earth via the portal of death or any other way and find them selves in Hell for Eternity. I mean think about that .. Eternity is a long time and there are NO Friends there. No one can make these choices for you. The decision to ask God to forgive you for your own sin is between you and God alone. Not Mom nor Dad no Sister or Brother can make this choice for you. It is yours and yours alone. God because He was rejected, came in the flesh of Jesus and went to a cruel undeserved death on the cross for you, because of you..... so you could get the forgiveness you so desperately need as do we all. God has offered peace between you and Himself, you must come to God through Jesus His Son there just is no other way..... Think it over but do not delay your decision..... YOUR Eternity depends upon it.... YOUR CHOICE?
About the Author
If I were taken into the court and ask to tell about the most outstanding events of my life, what would I say? This book is my Testimony, my life with God Almighty. . This is just capturing some major events and experiences that God has given to me. Nothing is greater to me than the every day relationship I enjoy with my Creator. My trip to the cross of Calvary is what qualifies me to write this story along with the life I have lived and am living as a direct result of that trip. These are the answers i would supply the court with.. I hold many titles to start with; Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Teacher/Preacher I guess the official title would be Rev. Susan Kerr and over 30 years of ministry experience that one on one kind of ministry, but make no mistake about it my favorite and most cherished title is Child of God. The richest form of ministry that exist is still what God does in the mortal humans life today in 2011. I was first ordained into ministry of our Lord January 1, 1983 so its been a few years. I haven't carried a license for many years but now I am. I was born in St. Louis Mo. in 1953. Life really began when I was born again in Blythe California in the spring of the year 1960. I was 7 years old. I was born with 3 brothers and 2 sisters, our own troop. All Believers by the way. I have documented the most important event that can take place in a life and from there I document a journey that caused me both great joy and great pain however in both total victory. In it all I learned how to pray effectively and by that I mean so that when I talk to God, He hears me and He answers. I do not tell God what to do no no but He tells me. When I act on His instructions everything works out just fine. I live in Tucson Arizona a city that I love. I find the beauty of Tucson to be extravagant I love the mountains and the Catalina's are the view just outside my front door... Great for early morning coffee. I have a different view of what Ministers and ministry should look like from most standard preachers, I actually think that ministry to people should be based and operated out of truth and love. Based on Faith in Christ Jesus my Lord and what He did for us on the cross of Calvary. I personally am pentecostal in persuasion. When I worship I like to worship, I sing, I shout, I clap my hands, I dance and anything else the Spirit of the Lord leads me to do of course as backed up by the Bible. I love my time with God the Holy Spirit. The prayer ministry that God has graced me with is wonderful. It is a wonderful thing to be used by the most High God to call out to him for other people and to have God move for those people in answer so that they know it was God who answered them is simply put ---marvelous and my pleasure completely....
