About the Author
This is my third childrens' book. I was born on the beautiful island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. This book takes me back to the joys of living on that island. I left the Bahamas in 1969 to attend Bible college in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. While in college I met my husband, Godfrey. We have been married for 36 years and have three grown sons and two beautiful grand daughters. My professional career began in the banking industry at the tender age of 16. Over the years I've worked in the banking and teaching fields in the Bahamas and in Canada. I enjoy working with children and have years of experience in different types of children's programs. These include Sunday school, teaching, camp work and vacation Bible school. I also enjoy writing poetry and have written and published poems and received awards from the International Society of Poets. I am also an artist and have sold several of my paintings.
