About the Author

Sarah Oliver I grew up in a small suburban semi-detached house with my parents and my older brother along with two small Westies called Sally and Snowy in Nottingham, England. (You know, the birth place of Robin Hood). I had a good upbringing and enjoyed my school years before studying A-Levels where I excelled in Art. I then went on to university where I obtained a history degree, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. This allowed me to become a qualified school teacher where I taught children of different ages. This gave me a valuable insight into understanding children, which I hope I have managed to convey into the story of Cliff. Later, since becoming a mother and bringing up my wonderful son it has inspired me to pick up my paint brush once again and along with my husband's vivid imagination and extraordinary characters, create a children's book and a story world that I hope will live on through the ages. It is solely dedicated to and inspired by our son Joseph. I hope you enjoy reading Cliff the Little Monkey as much as we enjoyed creating it. S & S X
