This a true story of a great friendship. Sammy a boy with Down Syndrome seemed different than the other kids. However one little boy becomes his friend and finds out he really isn't that different after all. He is just like any other little boy.

About the Author

I am Dylan I am 12 years old and wrote My friend Sammy. I met Sammy when I was eight years old. Sammy taught me a lot about people and friendship. Sammy taught me that even though we may look different,or sound different inside we are all the same, We laugh, cry, love, play, all the same no matter what our disability might be. ,inside we are the same . When I was 11 I had to move to Tenneesse. I don't get to see Sammy much, but he is still and always will be my best friend. I
