I can just hear her voice and her laugh could brighten up a room The beauty of her heart I swear could make flowers bloom I used to go to her when I was hurt no matter in what kind of way And right into my soul the perfect words she’d always say I always admired how you would forgive even when the pain hurt deep In that huge heart of yours a grudge you did not keep I think of you and I look up towards the stars Cause I know for a fact my Pruny wouldn’t go away to far Watching us thrive and sometimes I can sense your grace Wish I could if just for a moment wake up and see your face I hold back tears but yeah sometimes they fall like leaves Wiping them away but yet still in straight disbelief Grieving is the hardest part and it seems to hit you however it pleases But that’s when you turn and rely on the TRUE power of Jesus Pray to him when you miss the ones you can no longer see Run into his arms and just watch how he carries thee Hard to fight the emotions but somehow you got to push through Loss is so difficult especially when you done lost the families glue Pruny you amazed me, & thinking of you gone drives me crazy Why didn’t he instead take me?? ME for YOU…. GRACEFULLY

Tanika is a poet at heart. Writing from the young age of 12 she quickly realized that the art of poetry was a true gift given to her from God. She knows and believes that we all have a purpose on this earth and that hers is to touch others hearts and minds through her words. Her goal is to tap into your emotions and be able to make you smile, cry, laugh or maybe even just stop and think. She hopes that with her poetry she can make a change and touch your HEART through your EYES. As you read each poem she imagines that you will enter into her world; envision her ups and downs; her gains; her loses and even some of her pain.
