A father-son road trip to purchase an old abandoned muscle car becomes a learning experience for the young boy. This father-son team spend many hours in the garage trying to get this GTO back to new condition. The reader is introduced to new vocabulary as the team motors closer to their goal, a show winning car. Will all of the hard work pay off leaving the car looking new and the father-son team smiling?
About the Author
Growing up in a small town in southern Indiana, life revolved around two things: basketball and fast cars. My dad and I spent many weekends attending car shows, dreaming about cars and countless hours working in the garage making those dreams a reality. When my wonderful wife, Jennifer, and I were blessed with our first born, Rusty, I couldn't wait for the day that I could pass on the knowledge and enthusiasm about cars that my dad had shared with me. My dad and I still attend local car shows, only now we are accompanied by Rusty. I am proud to announce that at nineteen months, he can already spot a GTO from a block away.
