About the Book

This book begins with the past and ends with the future for Olivia. She has lost two sons within 5yrs and 8months of each other. She has gone through incest and rape as a young child. She lived with an aunt that made her life a living hell, and she goes through a divorce after 32 years of marriage. The walls end up coming down on her and it is at this moment that all she has gone through the deaths of her sons, the hurt, the lost of her parents and the rapes that occurred, it all begins to resurface. All that she thought she had forgiven people for, she finds that deep down inside she never trully forgave them at all.


About the Author

The author has her Ed.D. in Early Childhood and adult education. She presently works at a community college in New Jersey where she has taught for 16 years. She is the chancellor of a AP charter school in New Jersey. She is an avid reaer of history, non-fiction, fiction and mystery novels. The author was born and raised in Trenton, New Jerasey. She was educated in the public school systems of New Jersey. She graduated with a B.A. from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an M.A. from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and her Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has known from an early age exactly what her dreams for the future were and mapped out the road she had to travel to reach those dreams. Her interest has been urban education and making sure that all children received an equal opportunity in education to succeed academically and to reach their dreams. She rmains dedicated to her goal of improving urban education to help other escape the bleak past she had endured. Today she is working to make that dream a reality.
