I pray you will find comfort in these poems of praise and worship... And the message they hold will bless you and encourage you along the way... "Come to Him in Prayer" God encourages us to pray... He wants to hear what we have to say. In turn He asks us to listen, We who are Christians. As God speaks, He gives faith, hope and courage,.. For those who are weak and sometimes discouraged. He gives us reassurance when we listen closely to Him, While the Holy Spirit leads us in our spiritual battle to overcome sin. Jesus intercedes for us on our behalf... We come in His presence to the throne of grace to ask, For His forgiveness as we give Him our all. When we kneel at the Saviors feet and call. Feel free to call on the name of Jesus Christ... Through each prayer we have fought a good fight. His Word revealed to us isn't considered a mystery. Jesus only wants for us His victory. Prayer... It's showing someone that you care. While interceding for people upon their behalf, Pray for showers of blessings to come their way that will last. Help us, Dear Lord, to remember how you prayed... Only wanting the Father's will for each new day. Seeking only to serve God and others for Your sake, Is an exxpression of Your love for them that we make. As we learn to be still... And with Your love we are filled, With Your mercy and grace In this Holy Place. For He came to seek the sinner who is lost... He showed mercy and took our place on the cross. I know of none like Jesus who cares, So, won't you come to Him in prayer?

About the Book
I wrote “ A Gift of Poems “ with the encouragement of God’s mercy and grace in my own life...Through difficult times and through the good times... It is how God helped me to cope with each situation and to encourage others that there is always hope in our own lives with God as the head and we as the bride of Christ... Reaching out to Christians for the victory we have in Jesus through the power of praise and prayer...
The book of poems is easy reading with rhymes that flow as you read each line that gives it a harmonious rhythm in each poem...Each poem shares the love that God has for us and ministers to each one of us in some way or another... I pray that each person who reads this book will be enlightened through God’s love in hopes that they too may receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior... Written for His glory and the mercy He shares with us...
About the Author
I started writing poetry in 1986, after becoming a Christian in 1983. It was a way to start the healing process for my own life because what I was not able to explain to others with spoken words I started writing on paper by expressing God's Love in poetry. The more I wrote the more I tried to write by rhyming with words that expressed God's Love. I pray others will be touched by the poems and the meaning behind them for the Glory of His Name. Because He is like no other that I know that can take someone like me and turn one's life around for "His Glory." God Bless in His faithfulness to all who read these poems that expresses His love to us. This book of poems is dedicated to: My husband, Jim and family… Also, to my friends from Cross Way Publications…
