About the Book
Ted E. Bear is a Newfoundland dog, and Newfoundland dogs always want to help others. Ted E. Bear was no different. He has always wanted to be a seeing-eye dog—but Newfoundland dogs are just too big to be seeing-eye dogs. As a matter of fact, the school for seeing-eye dogs has never even admitted a Newfoundland student! Ted E. Bear is sure he’ll never get to live his dream.
He plays with his friend Waggles, a little beagle who loves hunting games. Waggles can run for hours and hours, and his big friend follows. But when Waggles is blinded in the wilderness, Ted E. Bear must jump into action to save his friend and get him home safely.
This is a story of the brotherly love and true friendship of two special dogs.
