How does it feel to not fit in at school, to be shut out and treated like an outcast? This isn’t a typical story about an average preteen who is treated like a misfit by her peers. Phalecia, who can’t seem to fit in, has always been taught to be herself. She doesn’t know it, but she is in for the ride of her life. The mirror will show her that image isn’t everything. Yolanda Peay has worked with children of all ages for over ten years. She is an elementary school teacher who has always enjoyed reading, writing, and black history. Yolanda resides in Buffalo, New York, with her husband and children.
