About the Book

> The Episcopal Church of All Saints, located on the corner of 16th and Central, was originally built in 1911 as the Cathedral for the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis. Today, it is a thriving congregation of people from diverse backgrounds. The sign over the front door stating "All are welcome" is there to welcome everyone into God's house and into God's hands... About the Author

The Rev. Gordon Chastain first visited All Saints in the 1950's, shortly after becoming an Episcopalian. Ordained in 1962, he served several parishes in Central Indiana until 1978. From that time until 1990, he worked in state and local health departments and assisted as an Affiliate Priest or Priest-in-Charge at All Saints, before becoming Executive Director of The Damien Center for four years. He then was rector of All Saints from 1994 until retirement in 2001.
