About the Book

The Adventures of E-Lane/ Maple Syrup Heaven is a story about a young French girl and her quest for the good life. She finds out life is not always greener on the other side. The story is also a social statement about the busy and e-lectronic life styles in big cities compared to a more quiet and rural setting. The author, Michael Grennan has a sweet spot for Maple Syrup and his first of many stories includes his favorite natural sweetener. Illustrations by Linda Jung show her talent for depicting women and children in both happy and sad situations. Her love of textiles and nature shines through in the amazing patterns leaf work and naive style used in the very colourful illustrations.
