SHOULD JESUS COME TODAY
He will come as a thief in the night In Christ be not asleep
His children will shout with joy and sinners will hide and weep
He will come in all His glory and His angels will abound
We will shout hallelujah when that great trumpet sounds
Sinners will quake and tremble for them His mercy is no more
For the weary and oppressed He will settle all the scores
On that great and joyous morning the dead in Christ shall rise
Then we shall go to join them with the Lamb in the sky
For those who choose not to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ
Will receive pain and suffering instead of paradise
Those who choose the mark of the beast upon their head or hand
Will never taste the milk and honey flowing in the Promised Land
So the choice is yours my brother make sure your choice is right
Fall down upon your knees and accept Jesus Christ
Now I ask you this question if you wait to long to pray
What will you do my brother should Jesus come today
EXODUS
The Pharaoh held captive the Jews in his land
They were soon to be freed by God's mighty hand
Pestilence and plagues were the things to come
Until the Pharaoh released God's chosen ones
Moses led them out into the wilderness
Trusting in God and His faithfulness
When Pharaoh's heart hardened he wanted them back
So at the edge of the sea his armies attacked
They pursued God's children in chariots of war
Their wheels fell off at the command of the Lord
Do not be afraid stand still and see
The salvation of the Lord was Moses' decree
In the name of the Lord Moses stretched out his hand
The children of Israel crossed the sea on dry land
A wall of water was on each side as they crossed
Pharaoh's army tried and they all were lost
Today God's arm is not shortened at all
He will do miracles for you if in faith on Him you call

About the Author
Joe K. Smith was born in Marlow, Oklahoma in 1932. A child of the depression moved between Oklahoma, Texas and California as his father worked the oil fields. After high school he worked at menial jobs until he joined the army at age twenty-three. He became an excellent soldier and attained the rank of Sergeant Major. Joe served two tours in Viet Nam and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After twenty-three years in the military moved to Aransas Pass, Texas and started his own business. He sold the business at age sixty and moved to San Antonio where he began attending Cornerstone Church and rededicated his life to the Lord.
