My America

I have spent countless hours thinking about our problems in America. I have played the what if game. What if we did this or that and then realized for one reason or another it was a stupid idea. However, once good ideas started coming they came very fast. So, now let’s get into what this book is about. This book is about my solutions to the most important problems America is now facing. I will offer workable solutions. I will present a plan that explains how we could fix these problems. I will explain why I feel these solutions have not been offered before. ( At least I don’t think they have been offered before.) I will explain the obstacles that we would have in instigating these solutions. The problems that I am referring to are: 1) unemployment, 2) affordable health care for all, 3) our national debt, 4) our dependence on foreign oil, 5) pollution in our environment, 6) social security, 7) single parent family units, 8) retirement, 9) our politicians, 10) an unfair burden on the middle class. In addressing these problems I will show how the following things can be implemented : 1) full employment, 2) health care for everyone, 3) our national debt being repaid at an rapid rate, 4) no dependence on foreign oil, 5) a healthier environment, 6) a better nation, 7) earlier full retirement, 8) a social security system that has a surplus (year to year) such that we need to figure how much in raises social security recipients should get each year, 9) an equitable way to pay our health care insurance and social security, 10) family units becoming more and more the norm, 11) employers and employees working together with more and more benefits for both, 12) retirees young enough to enjoy their golden years, 13) a shrinking poor population, 14) a better life for most Americans, and 15) congressmen and women doing their jobs. By incorporating all these ideas and many more all the items I just listed could and should be accomplished.
