About the Book

My Words, My Thoughts, My Reflections is a collection of lyrics, poetry and verses from first-time author J. M. Mugwanya. A long-time writer, the selections include topics such as romance, politics, spirituality, etc. Inspired by the great poets and artists of past, this book embodies all aspects of the hip-hop and literary movements of the modern era.

About the Author

My Thoughts, My Words, My Reflections is the first published book from author J.M. Mugwanya. Mugwanya was born in JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ and raised in Colonia, NJ. Mugwanya has also lived abroad in Bangkok, Thailand and Kampala, Uganda. Mugwanya completed his high school education at the Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, NJ in 2004. He went on to Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he graduated cum laude with his B.A. in Political Science in 2008. Most recently, Mugwanya received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in July 2011. In his spare time, Mugwanya enjoys travelling to new places, reading periodicals, listening to music and watching sports. Mugwanya continues to reside in Central New Jersey.
