Later in life, he would become a popular speaker around the world, first through his twenty-year calling as a United Methodist minister and then through his twenty-plus years as a financial adviser. About the Author

C. Ernie Nivens grew up in a small town in North Carolina during a time when it was safe for children to wander their neighborhoods alone. Those times and the following years in parish ministry and business gave him many cherished memories. He and his wife, Rosemarie, have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and five grandchildren.
