Some times Simon Sam finds that his brush will not reach up the chimney. There is a blockage. Those naughty jackdaws have built a nest in the chimney Simon Sam changes his brush for a large hook and with this he is able to pull the nest down the chimney into the hearth. Oh Dear Now the birds have no home and fly out through the top of the chimney They had used twigs and straw to build their nest. This would be very dangerous if Simon Sam and his wife had not come to clean the chimney. There could have been a dreadful fire. The naughty jackdaws must fly away to the trees and woods to build another nest.

About the Book
This little childrens book has been written as a dedication to all the chimney sweeps past and present. Especially the little climbing boys and girls and to Brenda's late husband Sam who we are calling Simon Sam and was a chimney sweep for several year. It is aimed at children of the age of six to seven years or beyond.
About the Author
