Jade lay on the floor of the cave. That last blast nearly got her. She was tired and thirsty, and full of cuts and bruises. Parts of the mountain caved in with. Jade yelled. “What do you expect to get by all this killing? You will never be human again. You’ll never be queen of anything.” The spider laughed. “Just like Tamara. I get satisfaction from knowing the pain I cause.” “Then you’re really going to be disappointed because you’ll never leave this cave. You’ll never see defeat on our king’s face. When your body lies rotting in the sun for all to laugh at and say this was the stupid queen that thought she could be Queen of all the fairies. HA! You are a joke to your own people. Look around queen, all your soldiers have fled. Even now your castle is rejoicing in your death.” “You lie! My armies will attack at the first notice from me.” “Yada, yada, yada.” Jade mocked. “What is this you say?” “It means you’re stupid and ugly.” Jade grinned.

About the Author
I have five beautiful children. I have four daughters and one son. My daughters and I live in Illinois, and my son lives in Michigan. My youngest daughter Sky had a lot to do with this book, I love watching her read this book as she corrected what she calls bad spelling. She would just look at me and laugh. I am a registered nurse and have been for many years. As I reach retiring age I thought I would write and see how it went. I hope you like reading this first book of Jades Adventures as much as I loved writing it. I hope you look forward to my next book of this series, let me know what you think.
