It has often been said that, “actions speak louder than words,” but actions and words are forms of communicating; both of these means are effective ways to communicate God’s message from one person to another. Regardless of the means used, everyone communicates; even to the point of death through one’s last will and testament. When God made man, He placed him in the Garden of Eden, and having made him in His own likeness and image, He communicated with His creation. Human beings also, have the ability to communicate, and understand what is being communicated to them through human fleshly senses or by God, through His Holy Spirit. It was through verbal communication that God told Adam, what his responsibilities and boundaries were, and what the consequences would be if he happened to violate those responsibilities or boundaries. God also, spoke to His Old Testament Prophets through the Holy Spirit, when instructing them what to do, where to go and what message to take to His people. These things are iterated in the Scriptures by the words, “and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him.” God is the original communicator. Ultimately, clear and correct communication is the basis for all success in life, for if there is no understanding of communication, then how does anyone know how to receive or give instruction or communicate anything to anyone? Teaching is communicating, develop your communication skills.
