This speech in fact touched the heart of a great number of people who were more passionate and less rational. They got deceived by his claim of being one of the Quiverians and that he served the land for all his life, disregarding or forgetting all the severe conditions they were living in and their sons who were imprisoned and killed in his age and as a result, some of them turned from being passive citizens to be supporters of the Shadow Man. And thus, the Shadow Man didn’t solve the problem. Instead, he fought fiercely for his throne and position, causing a division among the people and leading to what has been known since then as the “Battle of Camel” on the 6th of February. In this battle, the Shadow Man’s supporters rode on camels and horses carrying swords and sticks and attacked the peaceful Quiverian demonstrators. The result was a river of blood and a lot of casualties on both sides. However, the Quiverians knew the trick of the Shadow Man that he wanted to encourage violence as a way to bring the protests at an end. This made them more determined to complete their struggle and take revenge of those who killed their martyrs including the Shadow Man himself.

What was the most famous revolution in the world in 2011? Of course the answer is the Egyptian Revolution, known as the 25th of January Revolution or the White Revolution. And yet there aren't any books about this great peaceful revolution. This is a real pity because millions of people, young and old, would love to read about this subject New Egypt or the Quiver Land was born after a long black era of Tyranny. How could this happen? What was the price of achieving this goal? How could the peaceful Quiverians perform their White Revolution? Details of feelings, actions and consequences of this revolution are included in an easy style of writing.
About the Author
Mr. Ahmad S. Abdul-Aziz is an ESL teacher, a writer, a translator, a curricula developer and a researcher who is keen to share some of his ideas and feelings with others. He was born on the 16th of October, 1976 in one of Egypt's small towns called Fuwa. He is an Egyptian .He is now working as an ESL teacher in one of the private schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which he considers his second home. He is married with two daughters whom he considers the blessed angels of his life. Out of his love to his homeland; Egypt or the Quiver Land as historians call it, he tried to trace one of the important moments of Egypt's great history which is the White Revolution. He wrote this story to light the way before those interested readers who are keen to know more about the Egyptian Revolution. Writing is the favourite hobby of the author which he considers one of the main means to communicate with people of similar interests.
