Mrs. Slama had an important announcement when the children arrived at school. “I have great news everyone,” she said with gusto. “Next week we are going on a field trip!”
“Where are we going?” Jermaine demanded.
“A car museum?” Landon questioned.
“A princess castle?” Paityn wondered.
“A green house?” Reese asked.
“A golf course?” Brady inquired.
“Those are great ideas, students. This year we are going to ‘Adventure Park’!” Mrs. Slama answered.
A burst of sunlight entered the room as Libby realized she might get to fulfill a favorite dream. “Wow! Can we ride the roller coaster?” Libby asked.
“Only boys can ride roller coasters. Girls are too wimpy for roller coasters,” Jermaine interrupted with a smirk on his face.
“Everyone can ride the roller coaster,” Mrs. Slama reassured the class and winked at Libby. Libby was too overjoyed to get upset over Jermaine’s comment.

Tamra believes her childhood of being small in size, but tenacious in her dreams, led to her ultimate dream… motherhood. Doug and Tamra Johnston adopted their first miracle, Hannah Kate, in March 2009. In March 2010, Tamra gave birth to their second miracle, Lily Jo. Much like the characters in her book, Tamra’s daughters are proof anything is possible, as long as you truly believe. The Johnston family lives happily ever after in Omaha, Nebraska.
