Storytelling has always been the preferred manner in which humans learn. "Management Mistakes" is the story of a new manager and his difficult and bumpy road to success. The reader will learn about the most common, most devastating, and most impactful mistakes that new managers make. By reading this book, a new manager will become aware of the potential mistakes that effect his/her career and this will allow that new manager to avoids those mistakes.
About the Author
Don Wood has been managing and leading others for over 42 years. His experience includes small and national companies and he has lead teachers, teamsters, bankers, and soldiers.
Mr. Wood holds an undergraduate degree from Va. Tech., an MEd from Bowie University in Maryland and an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore. His work experience includes the U.S. Army Reserves, Severn School in Severna Park, Md., and various community and national banks. His first regular paid position was burying road kill for the Va. Dept. of Highways.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Oregon and Southern Washington.
An identical twin, Mr. Wood lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife. His sports passion is snowboarding.
