About the Author

Pastor Laurie McDonald offers a transparent approach of how God changes a life with a biblical perspective. Over forty years of experience walking with the Lord and an ardent student of the word gives this author insight that many others lack. Dealing with issues of substance abuse, enabling, child abuse, sexual confusion and physical abuse, the author shares a story of survival and thriving through the word of God. A high school drop-out that returned to school after having ten children to receive a Associate Degree, Bachelors Degree, and a Master's Degree in Nursing. Pastor McDonald has an Honary Doctorate in Sacred Ministry, and has pastored Greater Harvest AME Church for the past 3 years.
