About the Author

Heather (Doran) Fitzpatrick grew up in Baldwinsville, NY, a small town outside of Syracuse. She currently lives in Virginia with her family, and continues to find stories in nature and everyday life. Just as in her first book, “The Day I Saw a Dragonfly”, she strives to carry on her father’s legacy of storytelling to keep his memory alive for her daughters.
