CHRIST: THE PREEMINENT THRONE The Preeminent is premised upon the fact that there is no other name under heaven whereby men shall be saved. It is also premised upon the certainty that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High and despite every effort of satan to undermine Him and man's effort s to replace Him with Icons of his own making, He reigns Supreme. He is Lord. Preeminent takes a serious look at all of the Pretenders to the throne that have unsuccessfully been set to usurp Christ's authority and helps redirect man to Him. Man has chosen for himself hewn cisterns that can hold no water. Preeminent redirects him to the Fountain of Living Waters, the fountain with the blessed assurance that he will never thirst gain (Isaiah 55). There is a river of water of life as clear as crystal around the throne of God and of the Lamb, and man nis urged to drin k from it. Christ is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Amen, the Faithful and the True, who says 'I will give to him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.' (Rev. 21:6) So, come on in, the water is fine!

About the Author

Bishop Cynthia K. Bolden Gardner, JD is a retired dual graduate of Georgetown University--the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in 1978 where she received numerous honors,including Alpha Sigma Nu, Pi Sigma Alpha and Phi Alpha Theta, graduating cum laude with a 3.74 of a possible 4.0, and the School of Law in 1981 and gives God the glory for it all. She has received the Deputy of the Year Award 1999-2000 from the San Diego Office of the Public Defender where she handled high level felony cases 15 years. Prior to that she worked as Child Counsel/Assistant Public Defender for Erie County, PA, Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, Cleveland Office, Brown & Bain, Palo Alto Office, the US Dept of Justice Civil Litigation Division, the Small Business Administration and the White House Conference on Small Business, the General Counsel's Office of the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Law Offices of Richard J. Hardy. Recognizing His grace and mercy in her life, she readily dedicates her time to inner city youth, needy families and young lawyers who can call her at (601)780-0297. She was born and raised in Erie, Pa. and attributes the credit for her spiritual foundation to her late grandmother, Bigma, Mrs Lela Mae James. Bigma taught her that 'can't never could help himself'. This left a profound impact upon her resulting in the permanent deletion of can't, no, impossible and related defeatist notions from her vocabulary.
