Poetic Psalms

“To the Brothers” This goes out to all my brothers. All my brothers out there… Young to old, old to young. All my brothers, beginning their life. And whose life is yet to become. All my brothers whose life is establish and who helped paved the way. To all my brothers that helped us become the men that we are today. To all the brothers out there, who just have it rough? And to all my brothers out there, who feel like they just had enough. My brothers…..Keep holding on. I know that sometimes it gets rough and that, living in this world from day to day, it seems like you just had enough and that you just can’t go on… But keep on holding on, and keep your mind geared towards the light, focus at an angle in which you can turn your left hand into that which is the right. Right frame of mind, right frame of thinking. Trusting and believing God will lead you in a direction that will keep you from sinking, in all that’s around… Only to pick u up, turn you around, and plant your feet on solid ground. So my brothers…..Once again I say hold on. Hold on to that which is true and with a mind frame of staying strong. Staying strong in an hour in which we choose life or death. Staying strong in a time where many feel powerless. Staying strong, in the present keeping the future in lock. Making rightful decisions, instead of hustling, going to jail, or hanging out on the block.
