I’m Thankful I may not have the food that I want, but I have the food that I need. I’m thankful. I may not have the shelter I desire – but my shelter protects me from the changes in the weather. I’m thankful. I may not have the love I desire – but the love I have does quench the fire. I’m thankful. I’m thankful that I awoke this morning – willing and able to walk life’s journey. I’m thankful that my family and friends have been washed in the blood and, by God’s grace, are free from sin. I’m thankful for the Lord above-for His mercy and grace and boundless love. I’m thankful.

A native of Murfreesboro, TN, Donna is a 36-year veteran teacher in Texas City, TX. She has been married to John Warren for 43 years. She has two daughters and two grand-daughters. Donna has a BA in Elementary Edu. an MA in Elementary Edu. with Early Childhood Specialization. She is certified as a Daycare Director and also certified to write children’s books.
