Preface
Reason For Life is a written and visual expression of one man’s life experience. A broad scope of thought and feeling is reflected, yielding a passionate reservoir of knowing, and not knowing; analysis of being and nothingness, the wonder of God and a logical critique of contemporary belief in an absolute chaos.
Hope is explored within the boundaries of human belief and transcendent emotion. It is derived from comprehension of universal causation and unification of all things, leading to the infinite beatitude that ameliorates conscious suffering, bringing us to a place of peace within ourselves.
Our ultimate quest is to discover reason for rejection of fear in our lives, to understand who and what we are, and why we are: To discover love, that omnipresent existence with appreciation for unification of all things, a connectedness in Oneness of infinite design. Finding the source of our being permits manifestation of love to enter our hearts and spirits, driving us to purpose, and death to deny forever.
All people are born with the unalienable right to freedom of expression, to realize our God given unique potential, with freedom from injustice, prejudice and iniquity. Freedom, one learns, is not derived from the outside, but from the core essence of our consciousness, the very source of all creation, the individual’s light of mind and soul.
Sublimity
O’ how might we capture the glimmering light,
Glossing O’er the gossamery clouds,
As the white wisps are in nomadic flight,
And our yearning hearts are portending in crowds;
With Teardrops in remembrance of silent thought,
Forgetting not yet thy bright green eyes
With quickening fire;
And the rapture of love as thou hast wrought,
Forgetting not yet thy sweet soft lips
With passionate desire
Holding fast to the currents
Of need in time,
The whispers of hope
Find sentiment in fate,
Forgetting not yet the blazon of love
Is sublime,
Even as divining eyes
Find impediment in wait;
Golden Dream of Unity
Hope is our reverie,
It is the golden dream,
Not delusion or mirage,
But the effluent stream,
The trickling brook
Spoor of love
And gentle flow,
Tithed one to the other
With a scintillating glow,
Of saintly stars
Consociate in relation to all,
For our lives joined in unity
Are poised and tall; -
Yet subtle is the way of life,
As power dwells in truth,
And integrity banishes strife,
The unparalleled, -
Elephantine sleuth.
And nature conceals her secrets
In the sublime-
Hence, young eager minds
May please to climb,
E’er the lofty peaks
That touch the pale blue skies,
Following writhing rivers
Then flowing to canonize,
The violet of rainbows
As light finds sundrops,
To wrest radiant beauty
Only when crying stops;
Flying o’er willowy white puffs
of tremulous clouds,
Forming as diaphanous breaths
In pristine shrouds,
Thou shalt exalt the mystery
Of a blushing rose,
With optimism for sapience
And reverential prose,
The words shall reveal freshness
And cerebration,
Knowing man not merely
An ephemeral conformation,
And a primordial field
With ineludible impasse,
Our bodies mosaics
Of an elemental subclass,
Composed of dark drifting wisps
Of interstellar space,
Yet with colorless,
Soundless and
Impalpable
Grace.
Rapture shepherds nihility
From which all appear,
As the unseen
Unheard and
Unfelt
Becometh dear;
Phantoms mock the Kingdom’s scroll-
Beguiled we are not,
Transcend thyself
As gift and goal-
As child
You forgot;
From whence the soul of hope
Is mainstream for awe,
Whereas prophetic epiphany
Is spirit for the law;
And only for love
And peace
We advance
On wings,
Yearning with prescience
And Oneness,
Happiness
Rings.
Crimson sunsets
And sighing winds
Have no season,
Whose wonder acclaims
Freedom and Unity
As reason,
Divining in nil, a jewel of creation
Is ubiquitous prime,
However, still, impassioned hearts
Are emboldened to climb,
And not because Nature is trickster
In rhyme,
But because she is Noble,
Majestic,
And Sublime;-
And songs of love shall spring
From heavenly portals,
As hold melodies will sing
The sonnets
Of immortals.
Michael
Michael Jackson is a gentle soul,
The love of innocence
And beauty his role,
His gift to humanity is
A vision of peace,
His creation of song
For us n’eer doth cease,
The beauty of his lyric and
The meaning of his words,
Moves us to sublimity
Soaring as the birds,
His soul given freely,
His talent so unique,
His blessing so sincerely felt
Yet carried with mystique; -
His concern for the world and
Nature he doth love,
Unparalleled in kind as
So seldom do we find,
A man of conviction
Yet playful at heart,
To witness his crucifixion
The heavens they do part; -
As to his suggestion, dare we not start?
As the miracle of yesterday
Lives in peace forevermore,
We now need lament and pray
As gentle waters nudge the shore,
Of dreams of yesterday
Spoken earnestly
With love
And passion for,-
Ending
The war.
