It is my deepest desire that the words written in this book will be a ready reference and a solid source of “Essential Encouragement” for you. “Lady V.” God’s Daughter, She Speaks Encouragement. Vanessa Clark is a prolific writer, author, poet, encouragement specialist/coach and inspirational/motivational speaker, who has a gift of calming the troubled spirit. Her signature poem titled, I Am A Kept Woman” was published in the March/April 2010 issue of Epitome Magazine. She speaks “Words of Encouragement, Empowerment, Exhortation and Execution” at numerous events nationally. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 Vanessa had the humble honor of speaking at the God’s Leading Lady Enrichment Program in Dallas, TX at the Potters House of which she is a 2010 graduate. Vanessa rendered a prophetic poetry piece titled “G.O.D.S. D.I.V.A. ™ Distinctively Divine” and words of encouragement on “helping a sister out”.

Affectionately called “Lady V”, Vanessa is the daughter of Loretta LaVine Clark and the late Robert John Clark, Jr. of Kansas City, Mo. She is a Licensed Evangelist, Ordained Minister, author, published writer, a poet and recognized for being an anointed woman of God. She is a confidante with a humble spirit and a heart for hospitality. Lady V emanates a spirit of servitude, speaking prophetic words of encouragement, empowerment, exhortation and execution. It has also been said that “a spirit of encouragement exudes from her”, “she is called to minister change”, ‘‘her gift is evident”, “she is a fabulous leader of women”, “there is passion, purpose and power behind her words” and “she is an encourager extraordinaire.”

With a clear understanding of God’s precise purpose and plan for her life, Lady V is engaged in the Ministry of Encouragement, in addition to edifying the body of Christ, reaching the lost and the left out, the hurt and heartbroken by speaking, writing, preaching and teaching the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With a heart to help women, she also is an advocate against Domestic Violence and speaks at events continuing to raise awareness. Being a survivor, giving back to that community any way she can aligns with her personal endeavors.

Lady V divinely directs Essential Encouragement™ Ministries International, a Kingdom Ministry of Prophetic Encouragement, which she is founder and director.

Chosen and called for ministry, Lady V has faithfully served as: Ministry Administrator; Armor-bearer; Women’s Ministry and Hospitality Director; Intercessor; Ministerial Team Member; Event Strategist; Liaison to Pastoral Leadership; House of Prayer Host; and has researched and written a Bible Study Curriculum, as well as guides on How to Enhance Your Prayer Ministry and Corporate Fasting.

Lady V is in the process of writing an Encouragement Devotional; books titled Introducing G.O.D.’S D.I.V.A.™ Distinctively Divine; She Speaks . . . . Select Sermons For Your Soul; Volume 2 of Essential Encouragement, Poetry With a Purpose; and compiling information and resources for Sisters Spiritually Seduced. Lady V is also engaged in completing her degree in Communications. Vanessa resides in Dallas, Texas and she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
