About the Author
Dr. Lorne K. Freake (pronounced Free-ak) has served more than 25 years as a parish minister in both the provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick, Canada. As the author of several chaplaincy books, he now writes to give us some insight and wisdom gained from life in parish ministry. He has a Masters Degree in Theology from the University of Quebec (Three Rivers) and a Ph.D. from Laval University (Quebec City) Quebec. Presently he serves as the Director of Ministry Advancement (DMA) for the Canadian Bible Society for Atlantic Canada. He and his wife Peggy (a high school guidance counselor) are the parents of four ‘young adult’ children.
