About the Book
This book is about a little girl called Lucky. Her classmates don’t want to be her friend; she is a clever girl and does so well in her class. But Lucky’s intentions are to help them to do well in the class too. She was upset and didn’t know how to help her classmates, until Shirley the poppy fairy comes along and guides her indirectly. With the help of Shirley the poppy fairy, Lucky follows her heart and finally wins all her classmates’ hearts and becomes their best friends forever.
About the Author
Asha Jesrani was born on Mauritius Island, settled in Australia and United Kingdom, and currently lives in Dagenham, London. She was in the care industry for almost twelve years, until she became a homemaker in 2009. She is the wife of a doctor and mother of two wonderful sons. Her storytelling began when she had to read a bedtime story to her older son. It turned out to be a wonderful story. Repeating it every day became part of her life. She came with a new inspirations, love, and wonderful ideas, which she has never taken seriously. And she says a special thank-you to her son John for making it happen. This is her first children’s storybook. She really hopes reading the story will change some children’s lives. Nowadays, loads of children are probably unaware of fairies. Fairies do exist, and fairies love to help children because they have pure hearts. Asha sincerely hopes all children will enjoy reading the story.
