About the Book
This book is about a grandma and her grandson, Mason, who have a very special bond and love playing together. One of Mason’s favorite games is to use his imagination to build something, whether it is with Lego’s, Lincoln Logs or farms in the sand. Once it is built, he likes to twist and twirl around like a tornado knocking it all down. At first it was difficult for grandma to see all of their grand creations destroyed so quickly. That was until she realized it is just another of life’s important lessons. To pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start over again. You never know, the next time you may like what you create even better.
About the Author
Patricia J. Rippy was born and raised in a small town in northwest Iowa. In 2012, she retired from a 28 year career to spend more time with her grandchildren. Recently, while playing with her grandson, she was inspired to record all the creative fun they have when playing together, realizing there would likely be other grandparents and grandchildren around the world who would relate to the same fun games. This is her first children’s book, but won’t be her last. It has become a passion to share books that may bring a smile to the other grandparents and grandchildren of the world who have fun playing together. She lives with her husband in Denver, Colorado, has three children and two grandchildren.
