When Patty Childs unexpectedly lost her husband, she began wondering about life after death and what Heaven was like. While picturing angels carrying her husband, Patty contemplated whether he saw Heaven’s golden gates or if his loved ones were waiting for him, along with his dog, Old Blue. In an inspirational poem accompanied by vivid illustrations, Patty asks questions about our loved ones’ lives in Heaven. Within her verse, Patty wonders whether the sun shines in Heaven, whether the streets are made from gold, whether its eternal dwellers must live by the Golden Rule, or whether they are able to see God and stand in his glory. About the Author
Patty Childs holds an associate’s degree in business, but has dedicated her life and career to helping children realize that they are talented, valued, and loved. She lives and works as a paraprofessional in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Childs has seven children, one of whom has recently earned her wings and is now in Heaven with her dad, and sixteen grandchildren. This is her first book. Brittany Carlson is a self-taught artist who enjoys painting and crafting as a hobby. From an early age, Brittany has always demonstrated a love for art. She lives with her husband and two beautiful girls in a small rural town in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
