About the Book

"Collapsed Lung Expressions" is a collection of vertical heartbeat style poems which were written by Tim Mayeur during a life transition period. Gan Xiaohua is the contributing illustrator and used the writings as inspiration for the artwork that is included in this book.

About the Author

Tim Mayeur was born in Hamilton Ontario Canada in 1978 to Carolyn and Serge Mayeur. Tim was raised in Burlington Ontario. Education was important growing up as his parents were both High School Teachers. His sister, Danielle, had passed away due to an eating disorder at the age of 25. Tim's mother, Carolyn, was a founder of a local charity in his sister's honour. Tim's father, Serge, had immigrated to Canada at a young age from France. Tim is also the Author of "From Mayor to Fool: The Psyography of a Middle Class Man".
