About the Book

The Socialists take from the Rich and give to the Poor and the Elites become the Masters of our Universe. The Elites are usually very charismatic and successfully influence the masses by giving good speeches. They seduce our children into believing there is no God, that there is no right or wrong, and that everything is grey. In this political environment, our children do not question President Obama’s ties to William Ayers of the terrorist group, the Weather Underground, whom he describes as a mentor; or his vote for Abortion-on-Demand, which was far to the Left of Hillary Clinton. Nor do they challenge the negative attacks on Michelle Bachman who raised 23 foster children and yet is described as a bad person. Together, we are on a path to godlessness if no one stops the Elites from demeaning Christian ministers as old-school, superstitious dinosaurs, who are merely relics from antiquity!

About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR In 1974, I received an Honorable Discharge from the U. S. Navy as a Vietnam War Veteran. In 1978, I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, California. Many of my classmates were Vietnamese boat people with whom I competed and struggled to be in the top 10 percent. They came from a country that had spent the prior twenty years fighting socialism, and knew firsthand, the horrors of a socialized society. My degree is in Bio-Psychology, Math and Science, but my true passion is the study of History. In 1976, I voted for Jimmy Carter. Being young and in college, it felt like the thing to do. After only two years, the devastation occurring in the economy in the wake of a Liberal President was becoming all too apparent, so I began to write “The Robin Hood Lies.” In “The Robin Hood Lies,” I write about good Capitalists I have known, the history they lived, and the need to tell their stories before the Michael Moore’s in our society, and the Liberal Left, decide to re-write them. In 1980, I voted for Ronald Reagan and my soul found quiet solace. Once he won the Office of the President, I thought the country I loved had dodged a Socialist and economic bullet. Then, a few years ago, a neighbor’s teenage daughter said, “What’s so bad about Socialism?” She was leaving that day for a university on the Left coast, and I realized I had stories to tell that could no longer wait to be told. I started writing this book in 1978 as a direct response to the Carter administration’s assault on freedom and Capitalism. I write about a twelve step recovery program which resembles AA. It is a program for those of us who once voted for a Liberal but were then disillusioned by the devastating results. Today, Cathy, my wife of 38 years, and I have four adult children and ten grandchildren for whom I am grateful. I feel a responsibility to “tell it like it is,” before a Socializing government has time to fundamentally change America. I hope and pray every parent will have their children read, “The Robin Hood Lies,” before they leave home for the Socialist indoctrination camps aka the Institutes of Higher Learning.
