Just Like My Little Sister

About the Book

My little sister used to be just like me. We do everything together. As she got older she grew up to be taller than me. She can paint and she likes to ride horses, but the best thing about her is she plays hockey. I started to play as well so we could play hockey together. I had to change teams because I am older but my little sister comes to all my games to cheer me on.

About the Author

Laura Pilon is currently a student at Lakehead University studying in the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences program. She started to play hockey because of her younger sister, who encouraged her to start playing, after she noticed how excited Laura got before all of her sisters games. She continued to play for seven years on multiple teams and still supports girl’s hockey in her community.
