Have you ever seen a jumping rock? Adele did once and was shocked to discover it was no rock at all! After close inspection with her mother Adele learns that there are toads living near her house, toads that look like rocks. Adele’s mother tells her all there is to know about toads and frogs and that no matter how many frogs or toads she kisses her prince will find her when she least expects him.

About the Author

This story is dedicated to Adele Carolyn Muriel, Laura Pilon’s beautiful niece living the country life in Northern Ontario, Canada. Laura encourages children of all ages to learn all about the environment, from the little bugs and the bees, to the trees. Respecting the life that makes Canada such a wonderful place begins with the knowledge passed on from generation to generation.
