About the Book

In most families with natural born children (in this case kittens), everybody looks pretty much alike. But sometimes things just do not turn out that way, and some of us look very different than our brothers and sisters. Little Bill is shocked to discover that discover that he looks very different from his parents and brothers and sisters. Finally with encouragement from his mother, he learns appearance is not the most important thing in life. The book is about acceptance, diversity and kindness.

About the Author

Karen Frisbie Lemaster grew up in nort.hern Missouri on a farm. She graduated with her bachelor's and masters' degrees in psychology from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She grew up enjoying all types of pets, and loved the outdoors. She has entertained herself, grand kids and others for years writing limericks and children's stories. After retirement, she began raising Bengal cats. Little Bill is a real black smoke Bengal cat who belongs to her grand children, but lives with Karen. She and her husband, Dr. Grant Lemaster, reside on Long Island.
